www.PetWholesaler.com is an online wholesale division of Metro Traders, LLC. Metro Traders, LLC develops and maintains B2B portals in pet and garden industries and expanding to other industries.

  • Who can use www.PetWholesaler.com?

PetWholesaler.com is a Business to Business service. Our website is available only to retailers, non-profit organizations, veterinarians, online stores and any pet related business throughout the United States (48 contiguous States). These businesses can be for Birds, Dogs, Cats, Reptiles, Aquarium, Small Animals, Exotic Animals and Equine industries. This service is at no extra charge to retailer and you pay the price shown at checkout. PetWholesaler.com reserves the right to give or decline access to anyone who registers on our site.

  • I am planning to open a new retail or online outlet. Will I be able to look at pricing and product information?

If you are planning to open a new retail store, you might qualify to access our site after providing preliminary information. You may contact us at (877) 321 5050.

  • Where are you located and how will you deliver product to my location?

PetWholesaler.com is headquartered in Closter, NJ. Our contractual relationship with our vendors allows us to ship directly from their facilities to any address within the United States (48 Contiguous States).

  • Is it safe to order online through the site?

Yes, it is very safe and we have taken numerous steps to protect the privacy of your information. All credit card information is encrypted prior to transmission over a secure socket layer (SSL). We do not store credit card information on our site.

  • How are shipping costs calculated?

The products are shipped directly by the vendors. Depending on the vendor, the products are shipped either by FedEx Ground, UPS Ground, USPS or another private carrier. The shipping costs are primarily based on weight, distance, size of the products and quantity ordered. Some vendors have fixed shipping based on the order total. At “check out,” you will be able to see the shipping costs. If you select multiple Vendor s' products at checkout, you will see shipping costs for each vendor separately.
In most of the cases, the shipping costs are accurate. For any reason, if there is a variation in shipping costs, to the cost shown at “check out”, you will be notified first, before the shipment is made. You have the right either to accept or cancel the order at that time.

  • Will my order be shipped in full? What will happen if we are not able to fill the order in full?

We have products from many different manufacturers and distributors. Not all manufacturers and distributor inventory is updated daily. There is no way for us, to guarantee full shipment on all orders. If any product is out of stock, we will issue a credit for that product. We can't guarantee full shipment all the time.

  • How do I search the catalog?

The menu bars on the left and right will help you navigate through the site. You will be able to search the products by Category, Manufacturer name or by Keyword. Our advanced search feature will let you search for a specific product. Your keyword will be searched in UPC code, title, manufacturer name and also in the detailed description of the product.

  • I'm a new user and I'm not able to view the prices, why?

You must be a registered user in order to look at pricing information. For which, you must be in the Birds, Dogs, Cats, Reptiles, Aquarium, Small Animals, Exotic Animals and Equine products related business. You should also have a valid Tax resale id or a tax exempt certificate, and be ready to fax or mail it to us. This is a wholesale site and we want only business professionals to navigate through our site.

  • What is my minimum order?

You are expected to order the vendor's minimums. We have negotiated with many manufacturers and distributors and have tried to keep the minimums as low as possible. You must meet the vendor minimum requirements. There will be dollar minimums from each Vendor. You will order either from a distributor or from each vendor separately and in most cases, the orders will be shipped from the vendors' locations. Different vendors may have different ordering policies and delivery times. Click on the link “Manufacturer Limits” for any product, and you will be able to see all the Vendor related information including the Vendors minimum order requirements.

  • What credit cards do you accept?

We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express. We don't accept COD.

  • What are the return Policies?

Each vendor has their own return policies. Click on the link “Manufacturer Limits” for any product, and you will be able to see all the Vendor related information including the Vendors return policies. www.PetWholesaler.com will co-ordinate with most vendors on returns and help to resolve issues. But ultimately will not be held responsible for vendors of not accepting the returned products.

  • What is Express Order Form?

This is a faster way to place your order. If you know the title or UPC code for the products you want to order, you can place order for multiple products at one time. You can view the products either by brand or by a specific category.

  • What happens if the product I ordered is out-of-stock?

If the product you ordered is out-of-stock, a refund will be issued to you for that product. We are unable to ship back ordered products. The order must be resubmitted at a future date.

  • What is the difference between “Add to Cart” and “Wish List”

“Add to cart” allows you to add products to the cart for checkout. Products you want to order on a regular basis can be added to “Wish List” and later moved to the cart. This is a much faster way to place your order, than repeatedly going through all the products. Products added to the Cart may be deleted on a regular basis, for maintenance purposes.

  • The price of the product I added to the cart is not the same as when I am checking out. Why?

Prices are updated on a daily basis. If you have added products to the cart and came back later, the price might have changed or the promotions we have for that product, might not be available when you are finally checking out.

  • What happens if a particular product is restricted to be sold in my state?

    Few of the products we carry, are restricted by law, to be sold in some states. You will be able to add these products to the cart, but these products will not be shipped to you. If you are in a state in which a product can't be sold, we will issue a refund for that particular product. WE WILL NOT SHIP ANY PRODUCTS TO A STATE IN WHICH IT IS RESTRICTED.
